About me

🚀 Entrepeneurial spirit | 💡 Creative & analytical thinker | 🎓 Dean’s List

Hey there 👋🏼

My name is Christopher, I’m 20 years old and currently a student of business administration at the University of Munich. When I’m not sitting at my desk studying I like to work on my own projects, read interesting books or go for a run. I thrive to live a meaningful life and have an impact on the world. 🌍

Journey

A path full of passion 🦅

When I was little, I used to watch birds for hours on end, read books until sunrise and play loads of football and tennis. In school, I found my passion for writing, playing with words (alongside many puns) and languages. My career as a goalkeeper took off when I joined SpVgg Landhut in 2016 and soon saw me playing against professional football teams in the Bayernliga, Germany’s second highest youth league. Two years ago I finished school and quickly went on to study business administration at the renowned University of Munich. I’m currently in my third semester and I’ve already gained experience as head of marketing, project manager and strategist.

Join me on my journey and find out what’s next! 🌟

Interests

The past, the future and anything else 🧬

Oh boy, there’s way too many! I’m fascinated by the way nature works and amazed by the history and future of humankind and the world. Where do we come from and when will we go to Mars? How does AI work and what impact will it have? Recently I fell in love with chess and am currently trying to break into a 1000 ELO rating (Play me here on chess.com, if you want! ). Furthermore, I’d love to build a foundation of knowledge about coding and will start studying Python in a few months. By learning about and adopting new habits and routines I try to make more time for my goals. When I’m in the car I love listening to podcasts about space, entrepeneurship or to autobiographies. I’m always up for a chat and would love to find more interesting people to learn from and discuss things with! 💎

Sports

0 to 100 ⚽️

Sports have always been my passion ever since i was a little kid. I started playing football in a small village club and eventually became a goalkeeper. In 2011 i was chosen to partake in a talent program of the DFB (German Football Association) at the Stützpunkt Landshut, back then the most renowned “Stützpunkt” in Germany. The year there taught me a lot and I left the program a better player and a more resilient person. I stayed ambitious and transferred to the SpVgg Landshut in 2016, suddenly playing three leagues higher than ever before in the under 16s “Bezirksoberliga”. But I managed to adapt well thanks to hard training and believe in myself. Next season I was chosen to join the under 19s “Bayernliga” team. In a mere two years I went from playing in the lowest league to playing against professional teams in Germany’s second highest youth league. Competing against teams like FC Bayern München, SpVgg Unterhaching, FC Ingolstadt, TSV 1860 München and even against clubs from Japan and China taught me the importance of team spirit and where dedication can get you. When I moved to Munich I eventually had to put my football career on pause but my passion for the sport is still burning bright. Nowadays I love to go for a run or play some tennis. Corona also helped me build a solid home gym and I try to get a workout in as often as possible. 🏃‍♂️

Languages

The Bavarian with the British accent 🇬🇧

I’ve always been fascinated by the beauy and complexity of language. After falling in love with books I developed a passion for writing and began writing my first short stories in elementary school about weird dragons and Pokémon. A few years down the road I actually won a prize for a short story in the Eastern Bavarian crime short story competition and did some copywriting for the MINI Global social media channels. Very early on I also fell in love with the English language. With the help of many English books, films, friends and my parents I eventually developed my trademark British accent. Pretty odd for a kid from Lower Bavaria, I know. Later on I traded Latin for Spanish in school and discovered the medium of yet another culture. When I spent my holidays in France in 2019 I was devastated by the fact that I couldn’t speak the language and later took up French during university. I’m hoping to improve even more in the future! 🇫🇷
